FROM LAUSD's FACEBOOK PAGE - October 1, 2013 We are proud to announce the first edition of an ongoing feature: Los Angeles Unified School District Student of the Day. Each of our online posts will identify a unique LAUSD student and tell a small piece of his or her story. We invite you to read, "Like," and share, then submit feedback or suggestions at socialmedia@LAUSD.net.
Darryl Beason is a junior in the Technology Academy at James A. Foshay Learning Center. Darryl attended USC's Players and Professors Conference last week to offer a student's perspective on gaming strategies to inspire students. Darryl has sung in front of President Obama and loves graphic design and programming, which he plans to use as he works towards a career as a recording artist. His backup plans include becoming an architect or an animator for shows. Either way, he says he has a lot of dreams that he knows will take him far.
