REFLECTION BY MONIQUE: This
project challenged my technical skills because I had to figure out how to do
certain things in the project that I might have not understood how to do
earlier. The challenging part of my research skills was putting it all together
to make it make sense, and my critical thinking skills were challenged since I
had to think of the overall look, and plan out how my scratch would look.
By Karina: Progeria
Reflection from Karina: This is a genetics project I did in Scratch to teach about the genetic disorder, progeria. I learned a lot from this project. In order to make a Scratch explaining a disorder, I first had to understand it, so I had to do a lot of research. I got more experience working in Scratch. When I didn’t understand how things worked, I just experimented until I got the program to work the way I wanted it to.
By Jason and Daniel: Alzheimers
Reflection: We learned a lot about Alzheimer’s disease and
got better at using Scratch and at using broadcast/receive. This project was hard and it helped with my problem solving skills
